Being that you two aren't married your automatically get full custody. He has to establish paternity first before he gets any rights to your child.

Second, don't let his immaturity get you down. You have to realize that once that baby comes it's up to you and you alone to take care of it. Whether he shows up at the hospital or not your baby will always be your responsibility. You have to let him go and know that within yourself you are capable of handling this on your own. He'll grow up and when he does he'll realize what a huge mistake he made. You take care of yourself and forget about him.

Your the mother, custody automatically goes to you and the only way he would get rights is to prove he is the dad and have his name of the birth certificate and by law he himself has to put his name on the certificate, they are no longer allowing the mothers to do it for the guys..I had a baby 2 years ago and they said I could not put my sons dads name on his birth certificate and that he had to do it unless there was a reason he could not be there to do it such as being in the military and being in a base in a different state or something like that.

As long as he does not try to fight you or his name is not on the birth certificate you will have full custody.

You have to prove paternity and then have him sign off giving you full parental rights and him no custody rights now or in the future. See an attorney about this.

This is what you get for having pre-marital sex. There is a reason it was meant to be something between a married couple so this type of thing doesnt come up. You should make him pay out the butt for child support. You both were "mature" enough to have sex, you should both be mature enough to take care of a child. Sorry that your life will now be pretty much over.
