I've just agreed to go to scottish gas from scottish power, has anyone else done the same thing and found it to be the right thing to do to save money

I'd recommend you look at "uswitch.com". They will let you compare all the price plans for all the energy suppliers in your area. They will also give you details of any savings to be made by taking dual fuel and paying by direct debit. I've used this site before and the best thing is that the energy firms don't normally tie you in to an extended contract - you can change as often as you like.

there is a web site which sorts it out for you and tells you the cheapest in your area i live in cumbria but gone with london based

they all vary but the sites which ive comparisons i reckon they just quote there sponsors and maybe not the best deal
