use the norton firewall you will be better protected, the windows xp firewall is not that great and is only inbound protection.
disable the windows firewall

they are both firewalls - all a firewall does is block any computers that try to connect to you. wheather you use norton or windows it doesnt matter they both do the same thing. however, norton uses more CPU power.

It's not the best idea to use 2 firewalls, they can conflict and make it a pain to do anything. I suggest disabling Windows Firewall, it's not that good anyway.

no please disable the Norton, its better to have only one firewall... you think, if you have 2 firewalls, you will be the most protected... ha... just have the firewall provided by Windows... it takes less cpu usage than Norton, and your pc will be more stable..

don't be so stricken approximately viruses...they do no longer in simple terms walk in! you have firewalls to dam them. yet yeah you nonetheless want Anti-Virus and Anti-spyware classes on your laptop, acquire AVG 8.00.a hundred and Spybot - S&D, that would desire to maintain your pc air purifier. Cheers, Shed
