they don't "care" per se about drugs they are just addicted and do not have a strong enough frame of mind to adjust to realty while on it or while coming off of it....
when they're on certain drugs its almost like the drug is their family (as long as the money is there).. it comforts them and eases their issues and in their mind doesn't hound them or create more problems...
Realty has to hit them in whatever method suits them before they will change.
I am not condoning this, but unfortunately this is often how it goes.....

some people get to a point in there life where all they can think about is drugs. when you get addicted to drugs you cant really control your actions and all that matters to you is drugs so family is just another thing by that i mean its like your loved ones become like a stranger in the street, dont really care about them they are just passing people

because it is an addiction they seem to think they can't live without.... everything else takes a backset to there drugs... it is sad because they are hurting way more people then themselves....
and most people who are that way stay thay way because they do not seek the help they need to stop and understand there is more to life then that
