Think about it this way, you've really got 2 sentences dealing with the same topic.
Sentence # 1 is: I've been to many national parks. Sentence # 2 is: Glacier Park in Montana is my favorite.
In English, you'd combine these into 1 sentence separated by a semi-colon (;). So you'd simply write: I've been to many national parks; Glacier Park in Montana is my favorite.

This could be split into two separate sentences, but if you need to make it one sentence, it should read "I've been to many national parks; Glacier Park in Montana is my favorite." A semi-colon must go between parks & Glacier Park. And don't forget to capitalize.
