Let's say you have a B and an A and 82% on the final.

The average quarter grade would be (3.0 + 4.0) / 2 = 3.5
Multiply this by 85% and add 15% of your final grade.

So 3.5 x 0.85 = 2.975
And 0.82 x 4.0 x 0.15 = 0.492

The final GPA would be: 3.467 which would be a B+
