How would your life be like and what would you do with it?
Most creative and detailed answer will get the points be creative and have fun. People who came here to hate or spam will be turned to gold and then used as house decor.
Lets assume that if you touch someone they don't die they just get really shinny (totally aware). You can describe their life too if you want, but hey have fun.

I'd have some shiny kids and husband! Hopefully I knew they would live if I touched them :) After awhile I think all 'my' gold would make the price of gold in general go down but before that happened I'd have a grand old time selling my gold creations on eBay. :) Hopefully my hubby will list them for me because I don't think a golden computer will work correctly. I think I would lose a lot of sleep on my golden bed with my golden blankets and what am I supposed to wear if all my cloths turn to gold? And how do I get them off after they have hardened? But at least I would be rich in my golden palace with my shiny kids and hubby! I think we would have to become nudists. Hopefully I wouldn't starve and does the food after being digested turn to golden poo? Imagine what price that would fetch on eBay! :)

If everything I touched turned to gold I would be very unhappy. I mean money isn't everything and just like the story goes you'd lose alot.
Still I don't think my family and freinds would be too happy if they were alwasy shiney. I wouldn't be able to pick up my babys and love them to peices.
I don't like the color gold so I wouldn't want my entire house and everything in it to be gold. I mean plus gold is hard. Do i want to sleep on a hard peice of gold no.
There is no way you could get out of anything turning gold. Every step you take everything woudl be gold. There would be no variety in this world.

It would be good in some ways but, then bad.
If you needed money to help friends, give to charity, yourself then you would only need to touch something you don't need and it would turn to gold and you could sell it.
But then, how would you have a relationship, you wouldn't be able to touch your partner as they would turn to gold. You wouldn't be able to do anything for yourself. Think about it. If you are shopping, and you want to something, you pick it up in the shop and it would turn to gold. You wouldn't be able to do anything in life.
But then again, it would be pretty cool if you could chose which things you thouched that turned to gold.

before everything i might touch all my fake gold rings and swap it actual, then while human beings ask if its actual, i wont could lie. then....i might touch my chihuahua because of the fact shes already style of gold yet shed look extremely fairly if she became all gold...haha and that i might additionally turn my condo properties gold so i will promote it as 'the only gold homestead interior the section' THEN i might turn stuff gold and sell all of it on ebay and then i might turn paris hilton gold to intensify her fake tan cheers!

If I did not die first by becoming a pillar of gold from my own internal or external touch, I would become very hungry and/or thirsty by means of trying to eat golden food or drink golden water...

I would love to be able to spread awareness to others.To better the people by bringing out the best in then,To let them know that they have value and now have the ability to do good things for not only themselves but everyone they touch.It would be wonderful to awaken the shinning light in every one in this world.

that would be so awesome! I would put on a burger king crown and on it, in magic marker, I would write "Queen Midas" lol. no, that's weird. But that would be so totally awesome! I wouldn't touch food thought cause then we would starve.

1. You wouldn't be able to eat w/o someone feeding you...
2. You wouldn't be able to do any sports what-so-ever...
