Most of the bridal websites carry pics of new wedding and bridesmaid dress styles (brides.com, theknot.com, etc). Also, ebay has a well stocked wedding dress and bridesmaid dress selections, new and used, in most sizes. All of the major retail stores and designers(David's Bridal, Alfred Angelo, etc) should be coming out with their spring styles soon.
I got married at the end of September. I started dress shopping for wedding and bridesmaids gowns in November of the previous year. Since I'm a plus size, I found a website called plussizebridal.com that sells wedding and bridesmaid dresses from different designers. I found my wedding dress on that site and ordered the dress from a local bridal store who had a contract with the designer. My bridesmaid dresses were from David's Bridal. I took some advice from relatives and friends and ordered the dresses from David's about 6 months in advance of the wedding. Sometimes it takes up to 3 months for a dress to be delivered, and sometimes the dress delivered is not the size ordered, so if you go with a chain like Davids, plan on the occasional error.
Unless you have been measured by a seamstress, DO NOT order off a website. Wedding Dress sizes do not compare with sizes you get of the rack at most stores. Most wedding dresses, depending on designer, run 2-4 sizes larger than what you think your size is (ie- your jeans size is 8, you might wear anything from a 10-14 wedding dress). As I said, ebay users do sell new and used wedding dresses, should you find a dress you like on ebay, find the designer's size chart and get measured to make sure the dress will fit you. Good luck and good hunting!

depends on what your budget is like. the best wedding website i've found is theknot.com, they show dresses by thousands of different designers, and you can find dresses that fit your price range. they also show lots of pictures and ideas from other real weddings to help you find ideas for all the little details. congrats and best of luck!

David's Bridal is good because they have such a big variety. But I'd check your local area and visit small shops because they have more "original" dresses, usually. ---or more hard-to-find dresses. Good luck!
