one of my friends is obsessed with magical hobbits.. another one of my friends is obsessed with spiderman... another one of my friends is SUPER obsessed with bam margera.... and finally... another friend is WHITE and thinks she is black. She claims that god made a mistake. Ive thought about getting new friends.. but i cant. what do i do?

You shouldn't go looking for other friends if these ones are good to you. It's hard to find a good friend and shouldn't judge them by their interests. Its these friends who will be there for you no matter what, if they are good friends. Not to say you can't make any new friends because you can never have too many, but you shouldn't block these one's out of your life. Im sure there is something not too real that you like but you just don't put it out there the way they do. Just enjoy their company and except the things they like, by doing so, you will have friends for life!

Either don't be so judgemental or just find new people who share your own interests. That's what friends usually do. If you can't appreciate their interests at least a little bit (you judge these "friends" of yours as being "obsessed with weird things"), then what kind of a friend are you to them? At least you have interesting friends. All my friends do is party. It gets old. Look for the good in every one. People are all different, some for the better. Good thing we are not all the same, it would be boring huh sweetie?

I hate that feeling, feeling like you are out of place. I remember in highschool I would wear color and crap and then things got bad and I started wearing black alot and my friends did to and my friends were also really into animee and for me I think its dumb but hey if they like it, its all good. If you really like your friends stay with them and you can be the good level headed one of the group or you can find new friends if you dont like them anymore.

Hey if you can't beat them... join them... find your own mystical obsession and maybe they'll be jealous of you... never try to explain your friends, i've found it creates alot more trouble than it's worth. Good luck.

yes its funny to have friends like that, but everyone's different. you either:
a) accept them the way they are
b) join their group by getting your own fantasy
c) try to make them understand that they're stupid
d) get new friends
the choice is yours
