Here's something on the health care thing:
"In 1993 the President appointed his wife to head the Task Force on National Health Care Reform. The recommendation of this task force, commonly called the Clinton health care plan and nicknamed "Hillarycare" by its opponents, failed to gain enough support to come to a floor vote in either house of Congress, although both had Democratic majorities, and was abandoned in September, 1994. In her Living History memoirs, Clinton acknowledged that her political inexperience contributed to the defeat, but also said that many other factors were responsible as well. A decade later, "Hillarycare" would still be used as a label, sometimes pejoratively, for plans perceived as implementing universal health care.[14] At the time, Republicans used its unpopularity as a campaign issue in the 1994 midterm elections which saw a net Republican gain of 53 seats in the House election and 7 in the Senate election."

This is all they've got, it's all they've ever had. It actually helped Republicans gain seats, and there I will agree it was a fiasco. What's completely idiotic to me is that they have to reach back and boink her on the head for mistakes she has clearly learned from. Then you'll get a bunch of garbage about her having people killed, etc., without any proof of course. It's become amusing to me that those who hate her so much seem to know so little about her. If she did so many horrible things, why oh why wasn't any of it ever proven? God knows the Republicans spent eight years trying to prove something, ANYTHING, and never were able to do so. Conjecture passes for fact when you talk to Hillary haters. I haven't met one that hasn't got a skewed idea of who she is or what she stands for. For example, just take note of how many call her a liberal socialist. She's a hawk for crying out loud and more moderate than many of her fellow Senators. Good luck getting any answers that have any factual basis. I could respect someone who simply doesn't agree with her political stands, but it's hard to respect people who thrive on mud-slinging and not facts.

In private she's revealed herself to be a lightweight (she was led through the healthcare fiasco by a socialist named Harold Ickes (who is still a close political adviser) and failed to see that they were driving the train right off the cliff (why Bill let that happen is another story)) and, as well, has a hard and sometimes nasty ideological cast to her statements and interactions (read: I'm right and you're wrong (which, in politics, usually doesn't get you all that far (consider her the exception that proves the rule!))).

Her carefully crafted public appearances are, naturally, not designed to make the foregoing evident (why would they?) but, instead, often have all the hallmarks of an appearance by a regent. Some people find that style off-putting.

The fundamental reason that the right generally has no time for her is that her political outlook is one of European-style socialism. The right feels that this country will not be better off for following the mistakes made by the Europeans that are on full display each and every day of the week.

That's pretty much it - the main complaints are ideological and are backed up by demerits for style (just like Bush is "stupid" and all that nonsense).

It's not that she is a terrible person. She just carries too much political baggage to make a serious run for the presidency. The Republicans would have a field day with negative campaigning against her.
Right now, I think the strongest candidate the Democrats have is Edwards. An Edwards/Obama ticket would be a good slate in 08 for the Democrats.

If you get one honest answer it will be a wonder, what you will get is a lot of Rush Limbaugh, he starts most of his programs still bashing the Clinton's. They bring it in here like it is a fact, but it is not. She is a strong, very intelligent woman that is not afraid to stand up for what is right, she has been voted in as a Senator from the state of New York and then reelected so she must be doing a good job for them. There is not one good reason to hate her or to say she is so terrible. By the way the so called health care fiasco was the repuglican obstructionist that does not do anything to cross big business, it certainly wasn't her fault as she presented them with a viable answer to an out of control industry.

She was involved in white water. She serves on several committees that have huge failures, 1)armed forces committee (they have not provided the armor plated Humvee in due time. 2) Education committee is allowing our schools to fall further and further behind the rest of the free world (Bush's no child left behind idea didn't help matters here so its not all on HC. 3)Health (everyone is still complaining about health care (once again I want say that it all on HC but you can see the trend that her committees don't get results).
She also has views I totally disagree with such as her support of abortion and her desire to ban guns. If you agree with her then support her but I think she is of poor character and has no moral values that I can support.

There is no tangible reason.Hilary is an intelligent, compassionate individual who speaks her mind and that is troubling to some members of the opposite sex as well as the right wingers.Women are jealous of her for her hard-nosed determination. I like her and would vote for her.I would vote for Obama.Until we realize our own prejudices are keeping us separated,we will stagnate and be left with what we've had the last eight years.

I do not have time to look up links but one example is her view on illegal immigration. Two weeks before the big rally Sen Clinton was on ABC. On that program she unequivocally denounced illegals. Yet two weeks later she stood in front of the crowd and praised them as great Americans.
Sen. Clinton is a charismatic figure that uses her charisma to pander for votes and campaign funds. To my knowledge she has done more work for the Democratic party then she has done for the people of New York.

The one? For what? To aid him and provide him legitimacy and lift their little one even as he did anything he desired? If she used to be "the only" within the experience that she used to be his "one and handiest", the only he desired to spend his existence with, and so forth., then he broadly dishonored her by way of what he did. He obviously desired the brainy, robust political spouse to aid him in his possess targets, even as he hung out approximately and persevered to behave as a unmarried guy wherein intercourse used to be worried. Yuck!

I don't have the links & am to lazy to search. I voted for Clinton in '92 but turned against him after the travel office business. They fired ordinary hardworking people & publicly slandered them so they could give their jobs to cronies. That was visious.

She is married to Bill.

'nuff said.

"The Truth About Hillary: What She Knew, When She Knew It, and How Far She'll Go to Become President," by Edward Klein, portrays the New York senator as a ruthless and ambitious woman who would stop at nothing to protect her husband's presidency and promote a Clinton II administration headed by her.

Excellent read!!! I suggest it to all you HRC supporters to see exactly who you are supporting.
