Depends on what you mean by a "Drilling machine". Home Depot does have a rental department. But if it's something of a specialty that you are wanting to do. They may not have exactly what you want. Check the phone book for local tool rental shops also. You could call Home Depot first and find out, save yourself a trip. Then call around to the other places. Good Luck.

Home Depot has a nicely equipped rental unit.
Call their Tool Rental department first and tell them what you want to do.
Ask them if they have the tool available, and if not where they might refer you.
Ask them for the name of the tool that you would need. (just in case you want to check another tool rental place - plenty available other than Home Depot [yellow pages]).

Many hardware stores have tool rentals available.

If by 'drilling machine' you mean something more like a portable augur, or hydrualic post hole diggers (like can be mounted on a tractor), then you would be more likely to find it at a 'rental' store, or farm supply store.

Check your local business phone listings under 'tools' or 'rentals'.

Good Luck
