Around 16 weeks you MAY start to feel the baby kicking. This doesn't mean that on the very first day of what you figure to be week 16 you will definitely feel the baby, it means that for some women they feel it then. Every woman is different, every pregnancy is different. If you don't feel the baby kicking yet, it may be that you just don't recognize the feeling as being the baby, the baby hasn't started kicking hard enough, or you are not as far along as you thought. Your doctor will be able to tell you when he/she is getting concerned about it, but i would give it at least another 2 or 3 weeks before you even worry about asking your doc.

oh yeah, it will happen in the next month or so. What I felt the first time was this rolling in my womb...and it ticked..a lot! That was also what I felt when I realized I was pregnant with my daughter, it felt exactly the same, only I had no idea I could be pregnant and I wasn't far enough along to feel the baby....but I did. I wouldn't have taken a pregnancy test otherwise.

Yes, it's normal. Most women do not feel it until 20-22 weeks (for the first one), and others can feel it a little early. With my second I didn't feel anything until 24 weeks and amazingly enough, the baby had not turned upside down at that point, so it was actually closer to 30 weeks before I felt anything major just because of the position.

I am 4 months pregnant too and I havent felt anything either. I think that it all depends on if it's your first or second child. Ive read that somewhere. And if your over weight or skinny. Im kinda over weight so I think that I can't feel my baby yet because i have more cussion covering the baby. Sad but true!! lol
So, mabey give it a couple more weeks and you'll probably feel your baby.

It's normal if it's your first pregnancy to not be able to feel it early. You might be feeling it and not knowing, until the baby gets a little bigger and stronger then you won't be able to mistake it. Tell your doctor you are concerned and they will check you out if they think it's necessary. Try to lay down flat on your stomach a little while after eating something sweet and see if you notice any little feelings that might feel like gas bubbles. That might be your baby!
