Sounds like you need the help of investors who embrace your dream. You may want to do some good old fashioned ground pounding and put your business venture into peoples ear who will believe in you.

I am personally in the same situation but I researched my proposal in and out to the best of my ability that way when I presented it I left no stone unturned. Every one knows that I know what Im talking about and see that I am capable in taking my plan all the way and am prepared for everything within reason.

You are looking for non-traditional funding. There are venture capitalist groups out there that look for people like you and me with a good, sound venture that can make money. Have a good business plan, it's not just for a bank but it's a check list of what you need to accomplish what you ultimately want.

Here is some advice. If there is someone who is already doing what you want to do or does pieces of what you want to do, I suggest you ask them some questions about your industry. If you aren't direct competition than it shouldn't be a problem. You may find helpful insight.

Also, try your local chamber of commerce. Most places will offer business mentor programs that are geard toward small business owners. The workshops are a wonderful networking oppurtunity and can open and reveal many doors.

Last but not least, put your ego behind you. Understand that you are looking for money so you are asking people to please give you money and believe in you. So don't be proud and always be humble. Be charismatic ,likeable and professional in your industry and there will be people throwing money at you... it may nt be a lot all at once but you have to start some where.

Good luck and let me know if this helps.
