We just got hooked up to internet after a long time and all of a sudden when i'm logged on and on messenger there is this repetative dripping water noise in the background, what is it and how do i shut it off?

its very dangerous , you should get a doctor for your computer, noise in the computer is very very dangerous. thank you

hurry up get it to a doctor your computer needs a shot it has vd lol water dripping noise in a computer your funny put down the crack pipe lol

Do you have water cooling? If so it sounds like it is leaking, shut down the computer asap and check the fittings.

Start, Control Panel, Sounds and audio properties, sound schemes, scroll down to the messenger check boxes and change it there
