I'm planning on taking a long trip this summer in my '96 sonoma, and it would be a lot easier if I had cruise control. Does anyone know how much a kit would cost/where to find it, and possibly how much to get it installed?

Obviously, it depends a lot on your car. In general the kits cost anywhere between $60 and $300.

You can find several at JC Whitney

One other option is to find a salvage yard with the same model car WITH cruise. Strip that off and put it on yours. I have no idea of the cost since it depends on the yard.

enjoy your drive...
