Buy a taser, and when he least expects it, zap him randomly. The excitement of him not kowing what is going on will keep life exciting for you for years.

And yes, I know this is horrid advice, I'm just trying to lighten my day up.

Sounds like you won't have that problem. I have been happily married for 6 years, we have been together 8 total. I never would have thought I could love someone as much as i love him. We are happier and more in love now than we were 6 years ago. He gives me compliments more now, and me him too. We are a wonderful team in everything, maybe its been experiences within the last couple years that have brought us closer this way. However, keep it spontaneous sometimes, helps liven things up keeps the dull away. Don't forget to take trips together to new places.

What a great question.
I have been with the same girl since I was 19. I'm 42 now. Always remember to date you spouse. Even if you have kids who demand a tremendous amount of your time and energy. Never forget to take time for your spouse. If it's only dinner or just a cup of coffee try to take the time to reflect on your past experiences good and bad and to strive to create new and exciting experiences for future memories to be created.
Be spontaneous and never forget how to play.

Unless you want to die now, this too shall pass. However, the best, quickest and sure fire way to kill off love and sex in a marriage is to have kids. Once you have them, kiss all that love and sex and money good-bye. You will then be part of the real world again. This sort of thing never lasts.

You may be one of those people who like to plan your life from day one. Take it easy. Enjoy what you have. The fire WILL run out someday. And then, you being the big-planner will have to deal with how to find meaning in life without HIM being the central focus. Kids will happen. Problems will happen. But always have something going on for YOURSELF, and you can deal with whatever **** happens.

it sounds like you already are. how can it get more exciting than that? keep doing what you're doing, when the time comes that it seems like it's getting boring, then ask the question.
