My real name is a made up one. Wendy was created by J.M.Barrie for his Peter Pan book apparently a young girl living close to him used to call him her " friendy wendy". The way little ones do.
I guess I was lucky to be called "Wendy" 'cos the only other girls in the story are Tigerlilly,Nana, Tinkerbell and Mrs. Darling
