Mathmatically... yes.
This is one playoff possibility for the Titans to make the Wild Cards. There may be more possibilities but this is the one that I came up with.
These teams must beat these teams in the remaining 2 weeks:
Tennessee must win out
must beat Buffalo
must beat New England
Denver
must beat Cincinnati
Pitsburg
must beat Cincinnati
San Diego
must beat Denver
Miami
must beat NY
New England
must beat Jacksonville
Baltimore
must beat Pittsburg
Kansas City
must beat Jacksonville
Team...........Overall.....AFC..... Division
Broncos.......9-7........... 8-4 ....... 3-3
Titans...........9-7.......... 6-6 ....... 4-2
Jets..............9-7......... 6-6 ....... 3-3
Jaguars........9-7........... 6-6 ....... 2-4
Bengals........8-8........... 6-6 ....... 4-2
Bills..............8-8.......... 6-6 ....... 3-3
Steelers.......8-8........... 5-7 ....... 3-3
Chiefs..........8-8........... 3-8 ....... 4-2
That would make the Broncos the 5th seed in the AFC and the Titans the 6th seed.

The Titans could beat Indy to make the playoffs. today Tennessee's convention list is 6-5. in the adventure that they beat Indy, it is going to strengthen to 7-5. Cleveland has already performed all of their convention video games, and they finished at 7-5. So the Titans could beat the Colts to tie Cleveland with 7-5 convention archives. Then, they could flow to the subsequent tie-breaker, it is uncomplicated fighters, and Tennessee holds the sting over cleveland in that classification! yet in the adventure that they both lose....Tennessee will be 6-6 contained in the convention while Cleveland will nevertheless be 7-5

They have a outside chance. They would have to win the next two games. New England is a really good team and Buffalo has been playing quite well as of late. Even if they did win both they would need a lot of help. They would need about 4 or 5 more teams to lose one game and the Jags to lose two games.
I sure hope they make it coz VINCE YOUNG is such a great QB and them making the playoffs would prove how good he is.

While they are not mathematically eliminated yet, their chances are slim. They would have to win their last 2 and hope that about 6 other teams lose. The best the Titans could finish is 9-7, that will not get a wildcard spot in the AFC.

Mathematically it's possible. But the one team they'd have to beat out (NY Jets) has the advantage due to the win in week 1. The Jets would have to lose both games, the Titans would have to win both, and the Titans would STILL need help from a couple other teams! Therefore i'd say ZERO chance they make it, even with a 9-7 finish.

I dont think they are eliminated yet. But it would take a miracle. I gotta give some credit to the Titans. That is a team who could easily have folded it up, but they are playing with true heart. And for them even to be in a postion where you can question the playoffs sais alot about their chances for next year. I see 10-6 next year for them.

i am also i a big fan of the flame heads and its an out side chance they could make it but they would have to win out and have a bunch of games go their way. but even if they don't make it and end up 8-8 or 9-7 its a big victory because they weren't suppose to be this good. and with good free agency they could very well make it to the playoffs next year.

They can it is quite possible, they would have to have to win out and have the steelers loss as well as the Bills loss and all the teams that are 1 1/2 games ahead like Cincy and New York would have to loss with only one of those teams making the other wild card

They will probably not make the playoffs this year. They rallied to late, but if they go into the next season with the same attitude they have now, they might make the playoffs. Go Titans!!!

If I understand the wild card tie breaking rules. Of the 7-7 teams, the Titans win the overall tiebreaker if they can win out.
1. They would have the head to head tie breaker against the Bills
2. The best conference record tie breaker against the steelers
3. The best conference record tie breaker against KC
4. They have the division record tie break against the Jaguars
5. Cinci has to lose their last two games because they have the tie breaker over the Titans
6. Tenn has the division record tiebreaker over the Broncos so the Broncos only have to lose one game.
