I'm wonderinf if there is a website where it has a list of all coins made with their value or something. My grandpa gave me a coffee can full and I want to see if there is anything interesting it in. I'm starting with this sable centennail coin, can't really find any thing on it. Any one have links?

There is really no site that has what you want that is free, also you need to know some thing about what you have to locate it. You need to know how to grade, know where the mint marks are. A site that would cover world coins would be real large and costly to do. It takes 5 heavy and big expensive books just to cover 1600-2006. It sounds like you have a medal, not a coin. It also could be a token. I would need more info on it and a scan of both sides would be better. Go get a Coinage or Coins magazine, most magazine stores have them plus Wal-Marts. In it you will find retail prices for U.S. coins a dealer will pay around 40% or so less than that price. They will give you an Idea of what you have. Then you can see a coin dealer for you will have an idea of the more valuable ones. If not in the magazine then the item is a medal or token or world coin. You need to find a dealer of those items. A U.S. coin dealer usually does not know about those items.
