more than likely not... they are very accurate (sensitive) but there are some conditions and medicines that can cause you to be a false positive... also, you need to wait about 1 1/2 weeks after your missed menses to have the most accurate reading..... or anything after that will really be fine... you are probably pregnant so what is it gonna hurt to go to the doctor (where they will confirm it with CBC) and make sure you are in good health for the baby!
CONGRATS!

it depends on several factors, one where the tests positive or negative? It's far more likely to get false negatives that false positives on a pregnancy test. They're testing for the presence of a certain hormone. If it picks it up, chances are, the test is accurate. If they say no, it's POSSIBLE that there just wasn't enough of the hormone present when you tested. It also depends on when you tested. Did you test before your period was due? There has to be a certain amount of the hormone present for the test to show positive results. If you tested too early, the hormone wouldn't have been present in the amounts required to produce positive results. What time of day did you test? Pregnancy tests are more accurate when done first thing in the morning. There's more of the hormone in your urine, first thing in the morning. And I firmly believe in the brand of the test used. I've confirmed all three of my pregnancies with generic tests. (WalMart brand) The last time, I tried the First Response tests. They both said no, and I tried a WalMart brand test, the same day, which showed positive results!

No.
If they showed up positive, you' re pregnant.
Make sure they weren't evap lines (blue dyes tend to do this). The only way you would not be pregnant is if this were a chemical pregnancy in which you were pregnant but lost at a very early stage (your period starts on time or a few days late after a positive result)

Yes! Both times I was pregnant, the home pregnancy tests were negative and blood work gave a positiive result. Call your doctor's office and ask about having blood work done to determine pregnancy.

Well.....it could be wrong if you havent waited till after your missed period. I would say it isnt though because they are programmed to detect higher levels of HCG which is produced when you become pregnant. Good luck...if your still questioning though either take another one because of the saying three is a charm otherwise i would just go to my doctor

Maybe, depends on when you took them (the timing was right?)
Or you may not have enough of the hormone to make them register.
Go to the doc and have blood drawn.
