dont go over before noon, i wont be there
has the comma splice because the comma is connecting two independant clauses, that is you have two complete sentences joined by the comma....dont go over before noon. i wont be there.....the correct way for this sentence to be written is with a semi colon as it connects two independent but related clauses so it should be dont go over before noon; i wont be there.
