If it's not a feather pillow you should be fine. I would make sure that you evenly put them in the washer or it will become unbalanced and make a ton of noise. Make sure when you dry them that you stop it midway to shake them. Sometimes they don't dry evenly.

I just throw mine in the washer I like would a pair of jeans. Make sure to put a little extra fabric softener during the rinse cycle. (just because it makes it smell even better) Then throw them in the dryer and toss in a couple of tennis balls. This helps "fluff" the pillows back out.

Bear with me now. I tried this last month and it worked great. Take it tothe local do it yourself carwash. Wear your boots cuz you gotta hold it down with your foot. Soak t through with engine cleaner and then powerwash the heck out of it. This won't bunch up the stuffing like the washer/dryer. Then take it home and hang it up 'til it dries all the way through. Guaranteed to get just about anything out including DNA and drool stains.

you can try to put it in your washer. i have had some turn out well and some turn out bad. you can go to a laundry mat where they have those oversized washers, they might work better. or you can have is dry cleaned.
