I was arrested about three weeks ago for a felony. I applied for a job this past Friday, and I just went to court today (Monday). I haven't been convicted yet or been able to enter a plea. What exactly will show up on my background check at this point?

The felony arrest with outstanding disposition should show up.

Come clean with your boss.

Now with computers the arrest will show up, almost, immediately after the case been disposed of, you get convicted, found not guilty or take a plea bargain that will show too! It also depends on the job you applying for! A cashier at McDonalds isn't as important as a CIA agent!

It will show up on your criminal background check if you are convicted of a crime.

usually it doesn't show up until it's over with and you've been convicted...ask your lawyer...it may be different with a felony
