Pick out one focal point in the crowd, one person and start out that way. To lighten it up even more, picture that focal point naked, just don't laugh out loud. lol

Rod Rod Go has it right, that was the advice given to me in high school when I had to recite a poem and I am very shy, always had a fear of speaking in public.....well I focused on a clock all the way in the back of the auditorium and pictured everyone nude....went off without a hitch, actually I did very well....surprised myself..So Good Luck tomorrow and may the force be with you....you'll do great...

get up in groups a few times if possible and then slowly shrink the group. also, repetition brings familiarity. i used to be afraid, but i went and sang karaoke with friends every week for several months and now i have no problems getting up in front of people. it's all mental and you just have to realize that people aren't always as mean as you think and you are a whole lot better (at singing, performing, speaking, etc.) than you know.

jump up and down before going on stage, make sure someone tells you a good joke before going because that will ease the tense feelings you may have.
and lastly, think about how cool everything will be after you get it over with and plan to celebrate by treating yourself to food!!!!

Focus more on the bright stage lights (don't stare at them of course), the lights make it harder almost impossible to see the audience. And just be yourself (in character) and everyone will love you! good luck!

just get up on stage and let it rip. (not literally) I think the best way to defeat stage fight is just to not think about it and deal with it. I'm sure you'll do good. Good Luck.
