Ok for those who don't know I was worried I lost part of my plug on the 4th, 5th and 16th. On the 16th I felt the baby flipping alot then in the middle of the night I felt so much pressure I felt like pushing. Then on the 17th the same pressure. Today I went to the doctor and he said yes it was part of m plug he doesn't know if it ws all of it but he doesn't think so. My baby has dropped and is in postion. Also I'm thinning out more than I should. I'm 31 weeks now.

How long do you guys think it will be until the baby comes???

if the baby has dropped and you are already thinning..I would say not too long maybe another 2 weeks or so..I don't see you making it anywhere near your due date! GOOD LUCK & I WISH YOU TO HAVE A HEALTHY HAPPY DELIVERY!!

It could be hours, it could be weeks. There's really no telling. The only thing that's certain is your body and baby are both preparing for what's sure to come, sometime in the near future. If I were you, I would stay off my feet as much as possible, and TRY to avoid stress whenever possible. 31 weeks is still pretty early. Baby needs at another 3 to 4 weeks, at the very least. I had twins not too long ago, and learned that 35 to 36 weeks is when doctors take a deep breath, and sigh with relief. After that, chances are baby will be fine. Try not to worry about it too much either. Remember due dates are an estimate, give or take two weeks! Baby might come earlier than excepted, and be right on time too! Congrats, and good luck!

Once the mucus plug is completely gone, it can be anywhere from 1 to 3 weeks. The longer the baby stays in there, the better for him/her. Don't be rushing this. At 31 weeks, it would be highly unlikely that the baby would get to leave the hospital with you. Try to be patient and relax as much as possible. You want that baby to stay in there for at least another 6 weeks if possible.
Good Luck!

There is no way to say for sure. But lets hope another 3 weeks. Try to keep your feet up and relax as much as possible. DOnt worry to much about house cleaning and stuff like that or if you do, see if you can have a firend or relative come help. The longer you can hold off labor, the better it will be for the baby, and you.

My last baby dropped around 32 weeks and i lost my plug around the same time and I was 1 cm and 50% effaced and I still went to full term so just take it easy and you could still make it.

Try to keep him in as much as possible. I work with preemies and they have a hard time if they come out too early. Do what you have to like bed rest and relax. He will be here soon and it would be nicer to be able to take your child home with you in a day instead of having him stay in the NICU for 2 months. Best of luck!

It could still be a while. I would hope the baby stays just a little longer as it is a little to early.

I think you got a few more weeks.
