I would like to know if they teach evolution in the schools in Iran. Given that it's an Islamic country I would say no. But it would be hard to teach biology and geology with an old testament viewpoint-that is, the earth is only 6000 years old.

yes... I did. I've gotta say biology is not my favorite subject but I had to do biology in my 9th grade and yes... I do remember there was a chapter about evolution...

I don't know if Iranian schools teach evolution I imagine they would because the nation is financially well off and that is usually indicative of applied knowledge within the society. If they don't teach evolution, I doubt that they are taught the whole 6000 year old thing. That isn't part of Islamic beliefs.
