You have a raw space you intend to build into your new studio. After framing and walling in your record room you find it has a 0.0.1 modal resonance of 47 Hz. You decide you want to lower the ceiling by 1 ft. to allow for increased ventilation ductwork. What will be the new frequency of the 0.0.1 modal resonance?

Hi. Not an acoustic engineer but decreasing the volume of an enclosure or room should increase the resonant frequency. Don't have a value for you but it should be tied into the delta change in volume.
