With 2 of mine I found out @ 17 weeks and one at 18 weeks all boys. I have heard that boys are easier to determine.
Good luck, and I promise, you'll get what you want even if it doesn't seem like it at first. Just wait until you get to hold that baby. : )
Awwww!!! Good luck!!

If you have an ultrasound, be sure to have it after 20 weeks if possible. This will insure you get a more accurate answer. I've read that the sex organs don't form until the 16th to 18th week, so you have a few more weeks before you can find out. Another way is to have an amino, but the ultrasound should be good as long as you wait. I personally waited until I was 20 weeks with my son because I wanted to know what I was having. I was surprised with my daughter.

It all depends.

First off, does your doc do ultrasound as a routine procedure or only if there is a medical indication for one? If you get an u/s you might be able to find out, but not all mothers have (or need) an u/s.

Second, the baby has to be cooperative during the u/s for you to be able to find out the sex. Usually, the u/s tech will only tell you if they get a really good look and feel very confident about it.

Most doctors order ultrasound around 20 weeks to check for growth and if your baby cooperates you will find out the sex. If your doctor doesn't talk to you about this soon then just ask.

The norm is 18-22 weeks.
With my son I had my ultrasound at 18 weeks and with my daughter 19 weeks. I had an earlier ultrasound on my daughter an an Ultrasound Diagnostic School at 16 weeks and found out her gender there.

Usually you'll have an ultrasound between 16 and 20 weeks. Probably closer to 20 weeks. At your ultrasound, they should be able to tell you.

Usually they wait until you are 4 months along that way they can see everything on the baby and make sure everything is going ok. They also want to make sure everything is there all of the body parts. And all of the fingers, toes, everything..... Good Luck!!!! With Everything!!!
