I have a problem. My husband and I have to split our Christmas day, because. We want to be with my ex daughter in law and our two grandchildren. Plus be with my son and his new girlfriend. Plus we have to find time to be with the girlfriends parents as well. Should I just pack a picnic basket with cold turkey and salads and cart it around with us. It would be nice for the whole bunch of us to sit around a Table for the day. Is this expecting too much?????

no you should try to see if you can get everyone to come to your house for christmas because it will be too hard for you to visit and eat with everyone you need to see. if they all care about you then they will be nice and consider all joining you at your house for christmas.

See if you can meet with your grandchildren on Christmas eve! instead of doing it all in one day see if you can break it up between 2.
