Try this yourself in a rectangular or square room. Walk around to different points and see where you can see the majority of the room with very little effort (not rotating your head or turning around in one spot). You'll probably find that you want to be along the edge of the room somewhere.

Hi. The view from the plane in which the square (a 2D object) would have the LEAST view. And 90 degrees up would be the MOST view. All other angles would be a sin view.
