You should keep an open mind. There are a lot of possibilities with this. You could run your hand down the model, while forming the texture in the other. An interesting exercise to recognize touch and transform it from left to right. It is not clear from your statement what exactly the Teacher means. Ask a little more about the assignment.

That statement could mean make a model of a building with clay, not really sure.
