I live in Mexico, so I saw it last month. Guillermo Del Toro is Mexican, but the movie it´s a Spanish production. I loved this film, I think it´s the best of the year (of the ones I saw), it has already won four awards for best movie in foreign language, it's nominated for the golden globes and the Goyas (Spanish Oscars). The actors are great, the music it's beautiful, the story it's perfect, the visual effects are astonishing, the photography rules, well, I better let you form your opinion. By the way, although it's a fairy tail, it's not for kids.

I saw a sneak preview of it a few weeks ago- it's excellent. It's a Mexican film so it's Spanish with English subtitles. very good film with a lot of imaginitive creatures, etc. It's basically about a little girl with a vivid imaginiation which she uses to combat lonliness and the Fascism of the times. She falls in love with a fawn in a ruined labyrinth near her home. it's kind of creepy at times but the cinematography is amazing.
A good film worth seeing, especailly if you enjoy foreign films.

I saw and loved it. It should be out in the US within the next month. Great fantasy story, with some amazing characters. One thing people may not know, is that it is in Spanish with subtitles.
