Goodwill and the Salvation Army don't buy clothes, it's considered a donation and if you donate enough, usually $650 worth you can claim it on your taxes. Many thrift shops also don't buy clothes...again, donation.

Since I can't suggest anywhere specific because you didn't say what area you're in, if the clothes are in good condition you can always sell them on eBay. I've done this and it's better than nothing.

You can also look in your phone book and see if there are any consignement shops in your area. They do tend to be VERY picky about what they'll accept (they turned down 2 Dior suits I had) and they will only take what they think they can sell. Once they do sell it, some shops take as much as a 50% cut of the purchase price.

Try a search of Consignment shops in your area. They buy clothes, and give you a portion of the sale when the clothes are sold. You might try Buffalo Exchange, if there is one near you, they will pay cash for the clothes they buy from you.

Be aware that most shops will only buy clothes they feel they can sell, so you may not be able to sell everything you have. But it's definitely worth checking out.

Good Will and any Thrift store will except them as donations, they will not pay you for the clothes you take in. Your best bet is too wait until spring time. I stop taking our clothes there because
of the fact they would make money off our clothes I would donate
to them. Which I wanted them to disrepute them to the needy.
So now I take them to the homeless shelters where I know it will
be divided into so many piles of pairs were so many people are
able to receive the clothes for free. As for you wait until spring
to make your money, other wise you'll lose out by taking it to
them.

seem up Consignment shops or Resale shops on your yellowpages. you would possibly want to not be able to make a earnings because they received't purchase your clothing for more beneficial than you paid for them. besides the indisputable fact that, you've funds extremely of clothing, and that spends much less difficult. you need to bypass purchase extra clothing!

look up consignment shops in your area. also try ebay, i've sold lots of used clothing on there. as long as they are in good shape you can get pretty high bids. all you have to do is sign up for an account.you have to pay to list the item wich usually comes to about a $1.00 and they take a precentage of your sales but its very little.

You'll probably get more $$ if you wait till spring and have a yard sale... sure you could go to Goodwill / Salvation Army or somewhere like that, but I doubt that they will pay you much, or I think you might just have to donate them outright !! (Oh no! charity! how terrible!!!) You'll get more for them if you sell them on your own.

You could take them to a consignment store. They put them on the rack and sell them for you. You may have to give them something but you still make some money.

Your local goodwill, or any thrift shop like that. And it depends on where you're located. If you happen to live near the D.C. area, then you could go to this store called Mustardseed, where thay will pay for your clothes if they like them.

Ebay and Craigslist.

I've never heard of Goodwill buying your clothes. BUT you can claim your donations for tax purposes.
