For the longest time, I thought they were located in Kansas until I heard that they were located in Kansas City, Missouri. Is this true?

An even more pertinent question is..."Why do they call it KANSAS City, when it's in Missouri?" ...lol.

The Chiefs are on the Missouri side of the state line (which the Kansas City metro area straddles), as are the Kansas City Royals and (for the moment) the Kansas City Wizards.

Missouri. Rememeber Kansas City is located mainly in Missouri. In fact Kansas City is Missouri's biggest city while it just is a small part in Kansas.

The two cities are separated by the Missouri River. I do think that Saint Louis, however, is the largest city in Missouri.
