My local one shuts at 5.30, but there's an Argos Extra a little further away that shuts at 6.30.

Since you pasted this question within Mythology, I assume that you refer to the Ancient Greek city of Argos, which shut around 600bce,
In the 12th century, a castle was built on Larissa Hill - the site of the ancient Acropolis - called Kastro Larissa. Argos fell to the Crusaders then the Venetians, and was taken by the Ottomans in 1463. Morosini captured it for Venice in 1686 but it was retaken by the Ottomans in 1716. It became part of the Kingdom of Greece after the Greek War of Independence.
The modern city of Argos is the seat of the province of the same name, one of the three subdivisions of the Argolis prefecture. According to the 2001 Greek census, the city has a population of 27,550. It is the largest city in the prefecture, one of the few prefectures in Greece where the largest city in population is larger than the prefectural capital.
Considerable remains of the city survive and are a popular tourist attraction. Agriculture, however, is the primary economic activity in the area, with citrus fruits the predominant crop. Olives are also popular here.
Argos has a school, a lyceum, a high school, a church, banks, a police station, a post office, a castle, a railway station (Kalamata - Tripoli - Corinth), a water tower, a junior soccer team, and a square (plateia). The Argos Archaeological Museum houses ancient artefacts recovered not only from the principal archaeological sites of the city, including the theater and agora but also from Lerna.
Its a sleepy little town and starts to shut up around 10 in the winter, but nearby Naphlion, is much more fun, with some bars which will stay up to midnight.
And if you mean the shop, with the shiny lanimated catalouge, they shut at 6pm near chritsmas, but you can shop online

Any time between 530 and 700pm... Check on their website - they'll give you the store opening times there.
Odd choice of posting venue for this question... I'm guessing Yahoo assumed when you wrote Argos that you meant the boat, 'Argo' from the Greek myth!

At the back of the Argos catalogue you'll find a central number to phone, and the number of the branch you want to go to. If you ring the central number, it'll give you the opening hours for the next seven days - the opening hours will probably be different to the usual due to Christmas.

Ah, the mythological land of argos, where mystical elves cobble together rubbish forged of plastic and cheap wood and place its image in the book of wonder, that we mortals might purchase the mythical junk.
My guess is about 7.
