I have a question. I was wondering if when i first open my DS Lite if the battery is fully charged or do I need to charge it. Thanks

Does the battery come charged when you first get it home from the store?

Odd question, but yes, I got mine fully charged. So I don't see why you shouldn't.

Hi I got my DS today it came fully charged and i played ALL day!! also don't forget to Charge it when the light goes to a yellowish green don't freak out!!! it's just saying hi you played me and i'm draining a bit... rthen when it gets REALLY red Charge it when you play in the red zone you might crash and lose your game that so would like not be FUN so save your game shut it off and find the charger you can play it whileit's chargeing i do this for extended game play Happy Gaming~ and sorry 'bout my spelling!! ~

There are some juice left in the DS lite if you buy it, but I suggest charging it, besides you can charge and play at the same time.

IF I remember corrrectly the directions state to charge for atleast 3 hours. Read the directions first.

You need to charge it, read the manual if you have doubts.
