I have a son and now I am pregnant. 9 1/2 weeks along, and I am really wanting a girl....but if I get a boy I would be happy to have a healthy baby either way. And I will love him so so much. But my real question here is how disappointed will I truly feel if the baby is a boy?

Just know no matter what I am thankful for God's gifts!

I wanted a girl and that's what I had, but I wonder if I would have felt any disappointment at least initially if I had been told I was having a boy. I hope not- I'd like to think that I would have been thrilled either way. I'm planning on only having one child so all I'll ever know is what it's like to raise a girl. I've had some women who have sons tell me that every woman needs to know the joy of raising a son, but...I think I'll manage without trying for a boy.
