you could try to repair windows from its original cd

OR

you could try to reinstall windows.

BUT FIRST ensure that there is no faulty hardware in your computer:
1. download the hiren magic boot cd image (~50-60 mb) on a separate computer
2. burn it on a blank cd (there is no point in burning a 4.7 dvd for a 60 mb image :p but if you dont have any cds, a dvd shall do it)
3. configure the laptop to boot from cd
4. boot the hiren magic boot cd
5. choose to boot from cd when asked
6. choose from the start-up cd menu the testing tools, the ram testing tools and memtest86
7. test other computer components if you suspect anything
8. if all tests are passed (especially the memory test), REINSTALL WINDOWS

ps: i am not responsible if you loose any data my running programs you don't know from that cd and performing operations you don't know.

i hope you will find a solution.

worst case: connect your computer`s hdd to an other computer and check for viruses. that might do the trick if windows is filled with viruses.

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.
