Why do the Jews and Muslims blame the U.S for the problems they have with each other?

The human race has not existed for millions of years so how can the Jews and Muslims be killing each other for that long?

The Jews and the Muslims actully have a long standing history of getting along when the Muslims left Europe alot of the Jews went with them. Jews and Muslims both come from the same semitic tribes. Its only in the last couple of decades they have become enemys.They have far more in common then they do differnce
But you are right about one thing the U.S is not to blame for the conflict between the two althoght the U.S does egg Israel on like in the recent bombing of Lebanon for example but it was the Brtitsh who gave away the land of the Palestinians a land which did not belong to the British.

One thing to note is that Israel did not exist until after WW2. England basically gave this land to the Jewish people as reparations for what the Nazi's put them through. It was a good idea, except for the fact that the Palestinians aready lived there, which of course created tension since the Palestinians considered the land theirs. (It was actually called Palestine until after WW2)

The problem comes in here- after giving over the land, the English basically backed off and let the Jews fight it out with the Palestinians (and the other countries surrounding Palestine) who were against the Israeli state. The US has always been a big supporter of the Jewish state, and helped provide arms and training to the Israelis after England took a step back. Many in the Arab world resent the US for stepping in to what was basically a regional war.

Jews do not blame the US for problems with Muslims, but Muslims resent the support the US has given Israel since it was established as a country in 1948. Until recently, all Muslim states were committed to destroy Israel.

The US does bear some share of the responsibility for the creation of Israel. The Middle East wasn't the preferred destination of European Jews in the thirties and forties: most of them would have preferred to go to the US, but the American Govt wouldn't let them. The influx of Jews into Palestine made the state of Israel possible.

i don't know that the jews blame the us for the current problems. the muslims blame the us because if we didn't support israel with weapons and money, the muslims would have been successful in restoring israel to the palestinians by now.

It all erupted to the bigger conflict in 1947 when the U.S backed up israel in a war against palestine. the israelis won and thats why they have the land. the u.s helped israel by supplying them with weaponry, and to this day still do, making israel one of the biggest buyers of american weapons. since then the palestine people have blamed the u.s for everything that happens with israel.
