I'd laugh it off, like the store or brand made the shirt specifically for her. Tell her to get over it and realize that they made more then one shirt for a reason and that although you both have the same shirt, you differ from her by having better taste. She is really immature and ridiculous to think that just because you have an item of clothing that is the same as hers that you are automatically copying her. Even if you were, why would she be insulted anyway? Isn't that on some level a form of flattery? Regardless, this girl is overreacting and apparently has way too much time on her hands considering that she gets her panties in a bundle over monitoring what everyone else is wearing. It is definitely annoying but once again let her complain about, she'll eventually stop..Good luck and take care:)

Yeah, most people drive me nuts too. There just seems to be so many quirky ones out there now-a-days. Even the ones you think are normal have some hidden quirks that pop out later.
If my ultimate dream would come true I would win enough money to buy a trailer and put it in the middle of the desert. Then I would only have to deal with people when I chose to.

you better wear that shirt with pride hun don't let some crazy wench's ruin it for you. if you liked the shirt and bought it for yourself then i say screw them. that's what mass produced means...anyone can buy the same shirt and they need to be reminded that they are not original if they are buying clothing in a store that is well known and is mass produced. if she/they didn't want someone else dressing in the same clothes then they should either make their own clothes or go out of the damn country lol. where it with pride and happy holidays=)

They are all being shallow. Who cares if you have the same shirt, or how expensive it was? If you don't talk to any of them, then who cares? Jealousy is a terrible thing. Maybe they aren't as mad about you having the same shirt, as they are about not having one themselves. There are other things to concern yourself with, than worrying about people who you don't even speak to.

So Zach, I was married and was able to go from reserves to active duty which meant I would not get housing right away or see my kids, so I had to live in the barracks, and my BARRACKS were an old insane asylum in Panama, and then most of the furniture was falling apart, so then I had to do a one year tour to Korea, NO FAMILY, and always COLD BOSNIAN SHOWERS!!! so I suggest you just be quite, when I deployed to Kuwiate we were all in a WAREHOUSE, with a locker and a bunk so please stop whining!!!!

who f'in cares about them!!!! It used to be like that when i was in high school too! but you know what where what you want to where its not like they own the brand name or the people who make it and sell it.. I mean if they only wanted one person to wear the shirt they would have only made one not like a million and when you go to school and theres like one mall and everyone shops at the same stores what can you expect? People like this little snot your talking about who is saying your copying her let her get over it! who's to say that she should be the only one wearing that shirt? if i were you i would go up to her and say u know im sorry that the shirt looks better on me than it does on you but you dont have to take your uglyness out on me theres plastic sergury for that. dont let stupid girls get over you!

In our globalized world it is almost impossible that we have unique objects, so do not pay any attention to it, it is really not a big deal, if she gets upset about that why should you care? it probably looks different in both of you anyways. So do not pay any attention to it and wear you tshirt whenever you feel like it. There will come a time in your life when you really wont care what others say.

Unfortunately that is the way they are and will continue to be. Your best bet is not to wear the shirt to school but wear it on other occasions like going to movies with your "real" friends, or on a date, to a party, etc.

It seems to me that this is one of the big difference between men and women. If this happened to a guy, it'd be high-fives or "nice shirt".
My only advice is to try to stay true to yourself. Don't let others tell you what you like or don't like.
