Who is we?
The Americans put a man on the moon in 1969 and plans to put a permanently manned base there by 2020.

You didn't mention which moon. There are plenty to choose from apart from the one already visited. Jupiter might have a suitable moon to land on out of the 60. Maybe even get a woman on a moon next time.

A man on the moon? Preposterous. No such thing can ever happen. The thought of it is a foolish flight of fancy.
We can never go there - we will have to make do with earth Cheese.

Do you mean "we" as in Brits, or "we" as in man?
Man has walked on the moon - anyone who says differently is an idiot.
I'm pretty sure at some point a Brit will walk on the moon - especially if they build that base they're talking about.

The U.S. has been there and done that, six different times, from 1969 - 1972. We haven't been back because there hasn't been a reason to do so until recently.

NASA plans includes returning humans to the moon no later than 2020
China is planning to send humans to moon by 2024,so is india.

I've just done a quick bit of investigation, it took a few minutes looking around some of the answers people have given to other questions to figure our where they live....but i can confirm....americans have no sense of humour
Its obvious man has never been to the moon. If they had, Wallace and Grommit would have popped in for tea and some Wensleydale when they were there, wouldn't they ?
