Depends how much you are looking to spend. I think a great gift for grandparents is a digital photo frame that you have already filled with family photos. They won't have to worry about being tech-savvy since you already set it up, and they will be able to see a continuing slide show of their loved ones at a moments glance (no need to whip out the photo albulms!)

I have seen some nice frames in the $100 - $150 range, but shop around and see what you can find.

Buy a nice leather bound photo album and make them a memory book. Pictures, notes, cards, drawings, from friends, neighbors, family- anyone you can think of who knows and loves them.

what are their interests? Do they go out to eat a lot? (A gift card for their favorite restaurant) Are they on a fixed income? (A grocery store gift card would help) Invite them to dinner at your home and make enough for them to take home leftovers is nice too and then they can spend more time with you too.

GP's go gaga for home made stuff. Recent pics of you and your fam, paint something, go to the craft store and pick a paint your own decoration thing. They will display it for years!
