My husband and I are planning on relocating from NYC to the Carolinas. We want good schools for our kids. We are currently looking in the Raleigh area but are open to other areas including South Carolina. Any Ideas? Thanks In Advance!

PS: We do not want to be on the coast...

Raleigh and Cary are over-crowded. Move to Charleston SC or Charlotte, NC

humorous. You sound too knowledgeable, nonetheless, to place your self right into a crimson-neck shaggy dog tale. You do understand that something of the country considers North Carolina to be the South too, do no longer you? Did you notice how many human beings think of you're severe?

Try North Carolina because South Carolina has bad schools, unless you want it to be private.

Goose Creek, Summerville, Beaufort, and West Ashley are all nice places to live in south carolina They are all a little close to the coast but not too bad probaly about a 45 min drive depending on what you decide. South Carolina has bad schools

Raleigh is better than Charlotte and is closer to the beach, Raleigh is just the more ideal place to live I liked it there better than Charlotte.

the charlotte area is one of the fastest growing areas right now.. schools are good and houses are constantly on the market and new developments going up everywhere its 3 hours from the coast and 2 to the mountains so its perfect for weekend/day trips theres also plenty of museums, restaurants, entertainment places in the area and more coming
