They have as much right as anyone to perform the binding ritual. In the bible, there are female followers of Jesus and he doesn't make anything of it. Magdalene washes his feet with oil and dries them with her hair, allowing that has to be more of a statement.
Besides, the question you should ask is: what is the point of the Wedding Ceremony - is it is all part of the Establishment; Church, as Government, trying to hold authority over basic human rites (see what I did there?) by controlling the ability for people to have children. Pre-Victorian times, the church did not hold nearly so sway, and in the villages, people would leap over crossed broomsticks in the village square to show people that they had sworn their lives to each other.

Certain religions allow women to marry couples. Yes, it is completely okay. Women can be ordained to preform civil marriages as well. It's a fine and admirable career choice.

She had to been engaged before or at some time to have married this guy. I mean did you break up and you didn't take her serious. IK mean in order to get married some type of feelings had to have been present and your presence was missed
