I am intrigued by house swapping as a concept, but would be a little nervous about having strangers in my home. I have researched some sites, such as www.homeexchange.com and thought they have lots of positive things to say, I wanted to see if anyone here has had any experience in house swapping, and if they had any advice. I swapped my house - twice - on Care to Trade. The first time I did it temporarily (for a few weeks) and then eventually did a permenant home exchange. Big fan!

I saw the movie, loved it by the way... but I couldnt believe people actually did that, and then I went online and found a website that was just like the movie and people actually swaped homes across the world. I wouldn't personally do that, I wouldn't leave complete strangers in my home thats crazy!!!

You are lucky if the house that you will stay in won't have any obnoxious weirdos staying as well. But you can't really tell until youré there, can you?
