Have they been threatening you? Realistically, it isn't a big deal. You can fire up another e-mail account and set up all over again on Y!A. Most people that take it as a big deal are buying into the infinitesimal consequences and regulatory authority that Yahoo! has over it's users and superimposing it. They have free accounts, very simple ways to set up web-sites and log into and sign up for the other little promotional stuff they have, and then they like to pretend with all that in their way they still have the power to regulate and restrict users. And they don't, their powers of limitation and and censorship are shut down and undermined more often than not by their own devices. It's essentially a scare tactic to remind you that they can shut down yer account temporarily until you log on as something or someone else. They don't even have a sufficient investigative team for Y!A, what makes you think they can stop from re-registering with them under a new title. You have no idea how many people have been cloned, and then shut down as a direct result of the actions of their clones. It sounds like you haven't taken their threats and guidelines seriously, and you shouldn't, good job. No one else should either, even the reports are essentially false fronts to make you feel more secure than you actually are.

Having your Yahoo Answers account suspended is no big deal. Having your ENTIRE Yahoo account - emails, etc. - is a HUGE deal. Read the Community Guidelines. Depending on the level/nature of your "offense" here, Yahoo CAN (and DOES) suspend entire accounts.
