If you only got paid once a month on the 23rd, but your company said for some mysterious reason that they couldn't pay you on the 23rd or the 22nd (due to the 23rd is on Sat.) this December but the would pay you on the 26th instead?

I'd be sure I had enough savings to hold me over when things like this occur. This happens a lot. Your employer is dealing with a cash-flow problem all the time. Now it's your turn. You can find another employer but you may find the same thing occur there too. The best thing you can do aside from saving some money, which you should do anyway, is get more education and then get a better job.

I'd be really really pissed off!!!! I'd be complaining!! Our schedule pay days are the 10th & the 25th, since the 25th is a holiday, we're getting paid on the 22nd.
Hopefully u & a few of ur coworkers can do some complaining, enough to get your employer to pay you on the 22nd!!!

Wow, I feel very bad for you if this is happening to you. I would seriously make a complaint all the way to the top. That is not right. Alot of people might be depending on that for Christmas. Good luck and try to have a Merry Christmas!

Nothing much you CAN do except change jobs. If you are living payday to payday, with nothing else in the bank to keep you going for a couple more days, I'm sure that's rough. But I know for sure that if I was in that shape I'd be holed up over christmas and wouldn't be spending one thin red penny.

That sucks, but on the bright side you can use this reason not to get people gifts. Think of it as a late X-Mas gift to you.

i would be asking them why they couldnt pay me on friday. why would they have to wait till the 26. that dont sound right.
