As a republican, and a college graduate I hate nothing that is gained for the better of an individual. All of the things listed in the question are needed in everyday life and common sense is gained through personal experience. To accuse others of not possessing these lacks common sense.

Wow I love when people generalize that all conservatives or liberals are one way or another.

I'm a conservative and I don't hate science, I love original thought, common sense.

But why do we as US Americans have to take care of the whole world? Can't other nations help their own people?

(I'm not saying we shouldn't do somethings to help other nations, but why is it expected that we have to help other nations?)

Gee, I am quite conservative and I love science, original thought, common sense and the betterment of the human race.

Why do liberals hate the idea of using free market forces to drive an economy? After all, the profit motive has proven to be a fantastic driver of original thought, scientific innovation, common sense, and the betterment of the human race.

Conservatives don't hate science, original thought, common sense, and the betterment of the human race.

We hate the fact that liberal activists use "science" - without supportive facts - to propagate their anti-God opinions.

We have never stood against original thought, rather it is OUR beliefs and thoughts that are constantly being attacked.

Show me a liberal who uses common sense and we'll discuss that point.

Once you explain to me how killing innocents in the name of choice, degrading the sanctity of marriage, and opposing the traditional values that this country was founded on, serves to better mankind, then we'll have this discussion as well.

Why do you generalize so much?

If anything, conservatives argue that science ought not be tainted by political agendas (see evolution and global warming). For this, we're ironically labeled as haters of science.

Why is it necessary to group all people of a certain polititcal bent into one big group? I'm a liberal, but I don't feel the need to talk badly about all conservatives. Incidentally, I've noticed the same people who post these get all angry when a similar one is posted about the group they are...
