I find Vicks Sinex 1 a day capsules are fantastic for relieving blocked sinuses.
However, if you prefer the alternative method like me, try inhaling Eucalyptus Oil in a warm bowl of water (dont forget to put the towel over your head!) Like most essential oils dont apply Eucalyptus neat to the skin or ingest it though as it is a highly toxic essential oil! you could also try adding a drop of Lavender to it too as this is a great all rounder oil which helps relieves any kind of ailments from colds to skin conditions.. If in doubt about handling essential oils, consult a qualified Aromatherapist who can help!

Do not bother with expensive medicines from the chemist. Just stay indoors, keep warm, drink plenty of fluids and take a couple of paracetamol.

A cold goes in a week with medicine and seven days without.

If you are coughing lots at night, get the doctor to presribe you an inhaler to help you clear your lungs. Coughing can really keep you up. I would take Nyquil night time and a cough medicine (I can't handle Robitussin, benlyn gross but see cough medicine you can take). Get some good rest, vitamin C and drink lots of fluids
