Ok, so they claim to have a diferent view on morality. fine, I agree that they 'claim' it. But do you believe that they are really any different when it comes to the economy, and foreign affairs? I believe it is a charade, and that there is an over-riding agenda that exists. The 'differences' we see are nothing more than the natural progession of spurts and stops of this over-riding agenda, with each party playing its part in the big lie.

The difference?
If you vote Democrat, you get more taxes, more government, and less liberty.

If you vote Republican, you get more taxes (unless you're really rich or you're a major corporation asking for a bailout), more government and less liberty.

It's a good question.

I think they have the same views on morality with the exception perhaps of gay marriage. There are significant differences between the parties when it comes to the economy and foreign affairs. You can get a thumbnail sketch of these on the websites, democrats.org and rnc.com

You are so wrong. Just imagine how different the world would have been had Gore taken office. We would not be in Iraq, we would be a part of Kyoto. Our foreign policy would have not alienated the world. There would have been moves toward health care and the budget would likely still be balanced. I like you questioned real presidential power until Bush took office and I learned how much it can be abused.

Good question. I feel the agenda of any politician is to get re-elected and build personal power. Too many politicians are "say anything it takes" to get a vote. We need term limits for congress just like we have for the president.
